Third National Conference on Cloud Computing & Commerce to take place on April 15th

The Third National Conference on Cloud Computing & Commerce (NC4) will be held at DCU on Tuesday, April 15th, 2014. The agenda and speakers are to be confirmed and will be available on the conference website www.nc4.ie.

NC4 is a free-to-attend national conference on cloud computing and commerce and is hosted annually at Dublin City University.

Over 800 people attended last year’s event at The Helix, DCU, to hear business leaders and experts in cloud computing share their thoughts on the present and future for the cloud.

The 800+ attendees, representing both the multinational and the indigenous sectors of the Irish business community, came together at DCU to hear the latest technology and business issues discussed and to network with professionals from across the cloud computing ecosystem.

The Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce (IC4) is multi-institutional research centre located at Dublin City University. It was established in February 2012 by Dublin City University, University College Cork and Athlone Institute of Technology when it was awarded funding for the initial research programme for the Enterprise Ireland/IDA Cloud Computing Technology Centre.

The vision for the Cloud Computing Technology Centre is to be an internationally recognised industry-led centre of excellence for innovation and applied research, that accelerates the development and adoption of Cloud technology and show cases Ireland’s capabilities in this field.
