DUBLIN, Ireland March 22nd, 2011 —InishTech, a global leader in software licensing & code protection services for software vendors building applications in .NET has launched the world’s first cloud-based service for software monetization & entitlement management built on the Microsoft Windows Azure platform.
SLPS from InishTech is a true multi-tenant SaaS application running on the Azure platform in the Microsoft cloud that acts as an enabling service for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to commercialize their applications and transition their business across to the cloud. InishTech SLPS helps ISVs to monetize their software. It provides them with the ability to configure their software offerings dynamically, in accordance with the market’s requirements, distribute their offerings safely through any channel, and provide controlled managed trials to prospects.
The SLP service was re-built and transitioned across to Azure in late 2010. “Azure provides us with a very cost effective, resilient platform on which to flexibly scale our service in line with our business growth” commented InishTech CTO John O’Sullivan. “The cost savings are significant and the improved quality of service is invaluable to our customers.”

All SLPS customers are now operational on the Azure based service.
